It is planned to increase the maximum permitted speed to 110 kilometers per hour (km/h) in the section of Jurmala Highway (A10) from Rīga to Jurmala.
Speeds up to 100 km/h will be allowed in three sections:
Daugavpils Highway (A6) from Salaspils to Ikšķile (km 19.65-28.30);
The section of the Tīnūži-Koknese Highway (P80) from Ogresgals to Koknese (km 5.20-60.35);
Jelgava Highway (A8) from Riga to Jaunolaine (km 9.98-18.96).
