During the event, everyone interested is invited to celebrate together in an informal atmosphere, talk with other participants and get acquainted with the vast European culinary heritage, enjoying the national dishes and holiday cake prepared by the embassies of the European Union member states and candidate countries.
The Europe Day picnic will be opened by the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa and the Chairman of the European Affairs Commission, Edmunds Cepurītis.
