This winter season has not been particularly favourable for winter sports enthusiasts due to the changing weather conditions. This year, skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts in Latvia have had to make do with a rather rare winter experience. Juris Žagars, the owner of Žagarkalns, has already mentioned that if this winter is repeated, ski resorts could face the end of their existence.
