Salling Group is the largest retailer in Denmark.
The deal will see it acquire 314 Rimi stores in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as an e-commerce platform, warehouses and distribution centers.
Rimi Baltic has more than 11,000 employees in total.
The sale price of Rimi Baltic is estimated at EUR 1.3 billion.
