The largest number of sections with restrictions is in the eastern part of the country.
To avoid irreparable damage to the roads that have lost their load-bearing capacity, vehicles weighing more than 10 tonnes are not allowed to travel on them.
Of the 19 national road maintenance districts, the highest number of sections with restrictions is in the Madona and Gulbene area, where 91 sections are restricted.
