During the winter, the maximum speed limit anywhere in the country is always 90 kilometres per hour (km/h).
The maximum speed limit will be increased to 110 km/h on the Jūrmala motorway (A10) from Rīga to Jūrmala.
A maximum speed of 100 km/h will be allowed on two sections:
Daugavpils motorway (A6) from Salaspils to Ikšķile (19.65- 28.30 km); Jelgava motorway (A8) from Riga to Jaunolaine (9.98-18.96 km).
