‘Northern Exposure’ actress Valerie Mahaffey dead at 71: Emmy-winner also appeared in ‘ER,’ ‘Seinfeld,’ ‘Young Sheldon’

Mahaffey died Friday following a short battle with cancer, her husband, Joseph Kell, said in a statement.
