The committee approved two proposals at its pre-festival meeting: to invite Latvian local authorities to fly the national flag during the week of 5 to 13 July in honour of the festival, and to encourage institutions operating in Rīga to organise remote working during the festival week, especially on 9, 10 and 11 July.
