The Vārme wind park is planned to be located in five parishes in the Kuldīga and Saldus municipalities, including the Kabile parish. At the moment, the number of wind turbines and their exact location are not yet known - all this is still being assessed.
There might be either 16 or 19 turbines in the park. The planned height of the generators ranges from 179 to 266.5 metres. The Vārme wind park is being developed by Ignitis Renewables.
