At least 19 people were killed in a series of Israeli strikes in and around Gaza City, Gaza's civil defence agency said Friday. As the world braces for Israel's major military operation to seize Gaza's largest city, Hamas on Friday released a video purportedly showing two hostages, including one calling on Israel not to carry out its planned Gaza City offensive.
