Tallinn Demands China Choose Between Estonia and Russia

As [ERR reports](https://rus.err.ee/1609854711/cahkna-kitaj-mog-by-ostanovit-vojnu-v-ukraine), during the negotiations, Tallinn's main task was to convey to Beijing that Russia allegedly poses an existential threat to Europe and Estonia in particular. According to Tsahkna, 80% of the dialogue was devoted to discussing the threat from Russia. Tsahkna expressed the opinion that without the support of the PRC, Moscow would not have been able to start the war in Ukraine. The head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry claimed that the numbers indicate this. Estonia believes that China could have stopped military actions on the territory of Ukraine if a corresponding decision had been made. Tsahkna explained this by stating that Beijing is increasingly influencing Russian politics. Speaking about Europe, Tsahkna noted that separate negotiations need to be held with Hungary and Slovakia to persuade them to support Ukraine.
