The actress quoted Fennell herself: "I want this to be the 'Titanic' for the current generation. I went to see 'Romeo + Juliet' eight times, and when I wasn't allowed in for the ninth, I literally lay on the floor and cried. I want 'Wuthering Heights' to be that kind of movie." Robbi herself believes that this version of Emily Brontë's novel will be an amazing date movie. "It's a literary classic, visually stunning and emotionally stirring," she added. The first full trailer for the film was recently released. Its premiere will take place in February 2026.
