Comet C/2024 E1 (Vežčosa) will come closest to Earth on February 17. It is specified that it will be visible through a telescope, but only from the Southern Hemisphere of the planet. Its brightness will be about 8-9 magnitude. Researchers emphasized that in the Northern Hemisphere, the comet will be observable in the evening sky over northern latitudes. According to astronomers, it can be seen, but with great difficulty: approximately an hour after sunset and very low above the southwestern horizon.
