On Tuesday, sunny and frosty weather will persist in Latvia, but cloud cover is expected to increase slightly, meteorologists predict. At night, light snow will fall in some areas in the east of the country. The northern and northeastern winds will weaken, however, gusts of up to 14 meters per second are still possible along the coast of the Gulf of Riga. The minimum air temperature in the morning will range from -14 to -24 degrees, with some areas in northern Kurzeme around -10 degrees. During the day, the temperature will rise to -8 to -13 degrees, with some areas in Kurzeme reaching -5 to -7 degrees. In Riga, on Tuesday, light cloud cover is expected, with no precipitation. The air temperature in the morning will drop to -14 degrees, with some areas in the suburbs reaching -20 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show around -9 degrees.
