On March 18th last year, at around 9:15 a.m., the State Police received information that a traffic accident had occurred on J. Poruka Street in Ventspils, in which a woman had lost her life.
The investigation revealed that a man reversed a Volkswagen Crafter and hit a pedestrian who was behind the car, causing her to fall to the ground.
After the collision, the man did not stop the vehicle but continued to drive in reverse, as a result of which he ran over the elderly woman...
