Meteorologists forecast an increase in cloudiness; however, in Latgale, there will be fewer clouds during the day than in the morning. Brief rain showers are expected in some areas, mainly in Kurzeme, starting from the second half of the day. A weak southern to southwestern wind will persist. In Riga, cloudiness will increase, no precipitation is expected, and the air temperature will reach +13 or +14 degrees. According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC), the temperature record for March 11 in the capital is +11.7 degrees, set in 1997, while the national record is +14.9 degrees, reached last year in Daugavpils. As the anticyclone weakens, atmospheric pressure in Latvia has decreased to 1012–1017 hPa at sea level.
