In response, Iran attacks Israel and Persian Gulf countries with missiles and drones. According to the Islamic Republic, the targets of the attacks on Arab countries are American military bases in the region. Iran is also striking oil storage facilities in several Persian Gulf countries and oil tankers. Additionally, Azerbaijan and Cyprus, a member of the European Union, have been affected by Iranian attacks since the start of the war.
