The exhibition will introduce visitors to the rich history of Italian ceramic art, spanning from the early 20th century to the present day. The exhibition includes works by outstanding masters and artists who have significantly influenced the development of European ceramics. A special place in the project is occupied by the collection of the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza — one of the most authoritative institutions in the world dedicated to this art form. The word 'faience' comes from the name of the city of Faenza, which is now known far beyond Italy. Visitors will be able to see works created in various techniques and styles — from avant-garde experiments of the post-war period to modern artistic interpretations. Among the authors are recognized masters of the 20th century, whose works have long become part of the history of world decorative and applied arts. ![5_GBertozz.jpg](https://bb.lv/storage/5_GBertozz.jpg) The organizers note that the exhibition will trace how artistic trends and approaches to working with ceramics have changed over more than a hundred years. The exhibits demonstrate not only high craftsmanship but also reflect the cultural, social, and aesthetic processes of different eras. The project will be a significant event in the cultural life of Riga and provide a rare opportunity to see works from the collection of a museum that is considered one of the world centers for the study and preservation of ceramic heritage. ![3_GCerone_Scultura_2002-m.jpg](https://bb.lv/storage/3_GCerone_Scultura_2002-m.jpg)
