The State Police reported that on June 10 at approximately 11:50 p.m., they received a report that in Liepāja, in the station vicinity, a woman was in an apartment consuming alcohol and had a child with her whom she was unable to care for. State Police officers arrived at the scene and encountered the woman, who explained that she was visiting an acquaintance. The woman’s minor son was in the apartment, using a tablet at the time.
