The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland stated that Polish-Ukrainian relations are experiencing a serious crisis, and further escalation plays exclusively into the hands of the Kremlin. Kozinjak-Kamysz emphasized that the current situation is developing according to a highly dangerous scenario. According to him, the future of these relations is a question that all Poles are currently asking — both those who have unconditionally supported Ukraine since the first day of the war and those who advocate for tough measures. The statement came against the backdrop of a diplomatic scandal triggered by the decision of Polish President Karol Nawrocki to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle, which provoked a mass refusal of Ukrainian top officials and former presidents from Polish awards, as reported by Polish Radio in Russian.
