Polyakova's creative calling card is a large-scale show with carefully constructed visual dramaturgy, a luxurious gallery of stage images, and a vocal range that can transition from pop to opera within a single song. Behind the bright stage persona lies serious academic training: piano studies, a diploma with honors in choral conducting, pop-jazz vocals at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, a diploma as an opera singer, as well as training under the world-renowned vocal coach Seth Riggs. The artist's hits - "Queen of the Night," "Slippers," "Hey, Wait a Second!" and "Number One" - have long become a distinct layer of modern Ukrainian pop music. At the same time, it is Polyakova who holds one of the most large-scale solo shows in the history of Ukrainian pop - "Queen of the Night." The last few years have been a period of significant creative and civic transformation for Polyakova. In January 2024, she presented her first fully Ukrainian-language album "100% UA," in which her most famous hits were performed in her native language. At the same time, the artist consistently and openly supports her country, engaging in significant charitable activities to support the medical units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including providing evacuation resuscitation transport for frontline needs. Today, this part of her life is as inseparable from her as the stage itself. "Olya is among those artists who do not know how to step onto the stage half-heartedly. She always comes fully - with a show, voice, character, and confidence. This is how the audience remembers her, and this is how we expect her back with us," notes Laima Vaikule. The 'Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala' festival will take place from July 24 to 26 at the Dzintari Concert Hall and is rightly considered one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer. For three evenings, Jūrmala traditionally becomes the center of international music, bright emotions, and high artistic taste, bringing together stars from Latvia and around the world on one stage. All performances are accompanied by a live orchestra, creating an atmosphere of sincerity, inspiration, and unique artistry.
