For 11 years in a row, the most expensive film in human history was unequivocally considered to be "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" from 2015. It cost the studios "Disney" and "Lucasfilm" $535.5 million (not adjusted for inflation). The figures presented are purely the production budget. Hot on its heels was another strong contender for the throne — the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" (2018-2019), both films were shot simultaneously and consumed a combined budget of $1 billion. Also, by the way, a product of "Disney," but in collaboration with "Marvel." In the summer of 2026, the competing studio "Universal" conducted an accounting audit over several years. During this process, a sensational revelation unexpectedly emerged: the production costs of the blockbuster "Jurassic World: Dominion" (2022, the sixth installment in the dinosaur park series) turned out to be higher than previously officially stated. Its cost is $658.8 million! An absolutely insane amount; with that money in China or Europe, they could have built a real park with living giant reptiles.
