According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the territory of the country will remain under the influence of the cyclone throughout the day. As a result, precipitation will persist across almost all of Latvia, with intense downpours accompanied by thunderstorms possible in some areas. In most parts of the country, the wind will be light. The exception will be the Kurzeme coast, where the north and northwest winds will remain moderate to moderately strong. Near the sea, gusts may reach 20–22 meters per second. Despite being mid-summer, the day is expected to be quite cool. The air will warm up only to +14...+19 degrees, and the sun will start to appear only in the afternoon. Such weather may complicate travel, outdoor recreation, and work in the open air. Residents and visitors to the coast should be particularly cautious, as the wind will be strongest there. In Riga, cloudy weather with periodic clearings will also persist. Rain is expected again by evening, with thunderstorms not ruled out. The wind will remain light, and the air temperature will be +16...+18 degrees. According to meteorologists, the cyclone will remain the main weather factor on Thursday, so unstable conditions will persist in most regions of the country.
