Дональд Трамп

Palm Beach International Airport in Florida has officially been renamed Donald Trump President International Airport. The corresponding law was signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The airport is located near the Trump family-owned Mar-a-Lago estate. The renaming was marked by a ceremonial event. The president's son, Eric Trump, arrived at the airport on the family’s Boeing 757, known as Trump Force One. "A beautiful day," he stated on Fox News, adding that in his opinion, Donald Trump is most associated with Palm Beach and Florida today. Eric Trump also reminded that the highway leading to the airport is already named Donald Trump President Boulevard. The renaming of the airport is another step in a series of initiatives to immortalize the name of the sitting U.S. president. As noted by AFP, this differs from the established tradition in the U.S., where public facilities and banknotes are usually not named after living individuals, especially sitting presidents. In addition to the airport, a new bridge named after Donald Trump was opened on Thursday in Tennessee on Interstate 40. According to AFP, Trump's name has already been assigned to several public facilities and programs. The agency also reports that his image is planned to be used in American passports and on entrance tickets to national parks, while the president's signature is expected to appear on new dollar bills.
