Таблетки и банкноты

The discussion was prompted by a post from a woman who expressed her shock at what she saw in a pharmacy. According to her, an elderly customer in front of her was purchasing a large quantity of medications. "Today I went to the pharmacy for vitamins and inadvertently started to think. The woman in front of me bought a whole bag of medicines and paid over 100 euros. If such expenses occur every month, and pensions remain low, the question arises - how do people manage to make ends meet?" - wrote the author of the post. The post quickly gathered numerous comments. Many admitted that such amounts are not unusual for them. One user noted that maintaining health today is very expensive. According to her, even if part of the cost of medications is compensated by the state, the remaining amount still significantly impacts the family budget. Another shared that her grandmother spends about 160 euros on medications, but these supplies last for about three months. "This is just prescription medications. If a person lives alone and receives a small pension, it is very difficult," - she wrote. Some users pointed out that without the state compensation system, expenses would be significantly higher. "If it weren't for the compensation, I would leave about 300 euros at the pharmacy every month. Now it comes to about one hundred. This is the reality: to live, one has to pay for treatment," - shared one of the discussion participants. Another woman reported that her mother spends over 350 euros monthly on medications due to cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. However, there were also those whose experiences were different. One pensioner shared that thanks to properly selected therapy and reimbursed medications, her monthly expenses on medicines do not exceed 20 euros. The discussion once again showed that medication expenses can vary significantly and depend on a person's health condition, prescribed treatment, and which medications are covered by the state.
