Japanese Style Chicken Wings in Barbecue Sauce Ingredients: 500 g chicken wings 4 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp water 2 tbsp mirin or cooking wine 1 tbsp sugar 2 cloves of garlic Flour for breading or tempura mix Oil for frying Sesame seeds for sprinkling * Thoroughly coat the wings in flour. * In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, water, sugar, and mirin. Then squeeze the garlic and add it to the sauce. * Heat oil in a pan and fry the wings until golden brown. * Once the wings are fried, reduce the heat, drain the oil from the pan, and pour in the prepared sauce. Turn the wings during the process to ensure they are all coated in sauce. Fry until slightly brown, being careful not to overcook. * Sprinkle the finished wings with sesame seeds. Potato Salad Ingredients: 1 onion 3 pickles 150 g mayonnaise Salt and pepper to taste 6 chicken eggs 1 celery stalk 6 potatoes * Boil the potatoes in their skins and the eggs in salted water, adding a spoonful of vinegar. Let cool. * Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes, placing them in a large bowl. * Peel the eggs and cut them into cubes, adding them to the potatoes. * For the dressing, finely chop the onion, celery stalk, and pickles, and place them in a bowl. * Mix the chopped vegetables with mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well. * Add the dressing to the bowl with the potatoes and eggs, and mix gently. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Take it out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before serving. Vegetarian Pasta with Lemon Butter Ingredients: 100 g (dry weight) rotini, fusilli, or penne 50 g parmesan 100 g green and black olives 100 g cherry tomatoes (red and orange) 100 g bell pepper (orange or yellow) 100 g zucchini Green onion 1 tsp red wine vinegar 50 g olive oil 1 tsp oregano Salt and black pepper to taste * Heat water in a pot for the pasta. Meanwhile, prepare the salad dressing. * In a small container, mix olive oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir the dressing. * Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Once cooked, drain the water and let it cool to room temperature. * While the pasta is cooking, chop the other ingredients: finely chop the bell pepper and green onion, and slice the zucchini. * Place all the vegetables in a deep bowl. Once the pasta has cooled, add it to the vegetables and dress with the sauce. * Taste the salad and add more salt and pepper if needed. Grate parmesan on top.
