The upcoming Cabinet of Ministers meeting will consist of four parts, three of which will be closed to journalists and those without access to state secrets. In the particularly secret part, reports on strategic infrastructure facilities and Latvia's participation in NATO over the past year are expected to be heard. The ministers will also discuss Latvia's interaction with third countries. The impact of the conflict in the Middle East on Latvia's economy and the resilience of the domestic market in an emergency will be discussed simply in the closed part of the meeting. In the third part, the Cabinet is also expected to approve a response to the Prosecutor General's Office - since the response was prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture, it can be assumed that it concerns the investigation of a high-profile case related to state support for the woodworking industry. Apparently, in a climate of secrecy, the government will also discuss the progress of negotiations with investors regarding their purchase of the state shares in Tet and LMT.
