According to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), American military forces attacked several targets in Iran last night. Among them are radar stations, military logistics facilities, underground weapon depots, and naval forces installations. This marks the seventh consecutive night that the U.S. has struck Iranian military infrastructure. Washington states that the goal of the operation is to reduce Iran's military capabilities. The hostilities continue to affect not only Iran. Last night, Kuwait's air defense systems were activated following the appearance of Iranian drones, and an air raid alert was declared in Bahrain. U.S. military bases are located in both Kuwait and Bahrain, so any attacks in the region increase the risk of further escalation of the conflict. At the same time, CENTCOM denied the statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran that two oil tankers allegedly struck mines and exploded while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. command called this report inaccurate, stating that the information does not reflect reality. Amid ongoing strikes, tensions in the region remain high, and the situation around the Persian Gulf continues to be one of the main points of international attention.
