After an attack by Ukrainian drones on Saturday night, a fire broke out at the military airfield Hvardeyskoye in Crimea. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" citing eyewitnesses. According to the channel, more than twenty explosions were heard in the vicinity of the airfield. Reports of explosions also came from various areas of Sevastopol, as well as from Feodosia and Kerch. The Hvardeyskoye airfield is located about 13 kilometers from Simferopol and has previously been targeted by Ukrainian drones. Meanwhile, on Friday evening, a Russian missile struck the territory of a port in the Odesa region. According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, a civilian vessel flying the flag of the Marshall Islands was damaged as a result of the strike. A fire broke out on board after the impact. The crew, consisting of 17 members, was evacuated. Medical assistance was required for four crew members. According to Ukrainian authorities, their injuries did not require hospitalization. Hostilities continue to affect not only military infrastructure but also civilian facilities, including maritime transport.
