The upcoming coalition council will be very heated! Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs will demand that the 'green farmers' or more precisely, the Minister of Economics, prove that the upcoming deal to sell the state shares of Tet and LMT to potential investors is not a scam. In turn, the 'green farmers' are preparing to strike back - the Prime Minister will have to explain how he plans to extinguish the fire at airBaltic and how much this rescue plan will cost taxpayers. Additionally, the coalition partners will need to decide on the government's action plan, which was removed from the agenda of the previous government meeting due to a lack of funds for its implementation. The partners are not very pleased that there is no money for their grand election plans. At the same time, the National Alliance will demand to initiate the process of merging ministries, which could realistically save tens of millions of euros. The coalition agenda will surely also include further discussion on the list of Russian and Belarusian goods, the import of which into Latvia is planned to be launched.
