Free spots are available in Riga's 9th, 21st, 25th, 31st, 33rd, 71st, 88th, 92nd, 95th, 96th secondary schools, Arkadija Riga Secondary School, Riga Lithuanian Secondary School, Riga Rinjuga Secondary School, Riga Ukrainian Secondary School, Reinhold Schmeling Riga Secondary School, Ostvalda Riga Secondary School, and in the music program at Riga's 45th Secondary School. Free spots are considered those for which there are no active applications in the electronic admission system. Candidates who meet the admission requirements of a specific school can apply for the available spots. It has already been reported that this year, 5,332 students have applied for admission to the 10th grades of Riga educational institutions, according to summarized information from the municipality. A total of 41,581 applications have been received, averaging 785 applications per educational institution.
