According to her, the boy was playing near their house in the village of Dubtsy when a local resident walked by with a large dog. According to the man, the dog did indeed knock the boy to the ground and started biting him, but he immediately yanked on the leash, tied the animal to a post, and then began to assist the injured child. "I pulled her by the leash and tied the dog to a post. And I started attending to the child," the dog's owner said. He also reported that about ten minutes later, the boy's parents arrived and took him to a medical facility. The circumstances of the incident and the degree of responsibility of the animal's owner will be determined by law enforcement agencies. The parties' accounts differ in details, but they agree on the main point — the child sustained severe injuries as a result of the dog attack. The boy is currently under medical supervision, and all circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the competent authorities.
