Of these, 439,167 foreigners arrived from Latvia, 704,862 from Lithuania, and 152,960 from Poland. Under the expanded visa-free regime for 35 European countries, 78,088 people entered Belarus starting from July 19, 2024. It is worth noting that the visa-free entry procedure to Belarus for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia, and individuals with non-citizen status in Latvia was introduced on April 15, 2022, and for citizens of Poland on July 1, 2022. Initially, the visa-free regime was set to last until December 31, 2022, but this period was extended by a special decree first until December 31, 2023, and then for the entire year of 2024. From July 19, 2024, an "expanded visa-free" regime was introduced for citizens of 35 European countries. It has been extended until December 31, 2026.
