The presentation of the "Christian Corps" - an association of combat units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine that proclaimed Christian values as the foundation of their activities and worldview - took place in the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The event opened with a video address from the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov. He emphasized the importance of unity within Ukrainian society, support for defenders, and service to Ukraine. The Christian Corps includes the "Brotherhood" battalion, the "Stugna" special unit, the "Revanche" tactical group, the "Tradition and Order" unit, the active actions unit "Company of Jesus Christ," the "Brotherhood of Drones," the "Belarusian Volunteers" unit, the 6th special forces detachment as part of the "Timur Special Unit," and other combat units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The main civil partner of the Corps is the Charity Fund for Youth Initiative "Hope." According to the participants, the main values for the military of the Corps are love for God, love for one’s neighbor, brotherhood, service, and honor. "The Christian Corps is a platform for coordination and interaction between units that share a common vision of military service as a responsibility to God, comrades, and the Ukrainian people," noted the commander of the "Brotherhood" unit, Oleksiy Seredyuk. It was also emphasized at the event that the activities of the Corps are not limited to combat tasks. "On the front line, the Christian Corps defends Ukraine with the power of arms; in the rear, it protects every citizen with the power of law, morality, and justice," highlighted the commander of "Revanche," Bohdan Khodakovskyi. The artistic program created a special atmosphere for the event. The presentation began with the "Prayer for Ukraine" performed by the world-renowned pianist and composer Yevhen Khmara and a serviceman, participant of the "Cultural Forces of Ukraine" platform, Dima Libra. The guests were also entertained by multi-instrumentalist, member of the ONUKA band and the "Cultural Forces of Ukraine" platform, Yevhen Yovenko. The evening concluded with a collective prayer and "Piano Therapy" by Yevhen Khmara.
