The number of reports of antisemitism has risen by 43% to 93. This is the highest figure in five years during which the organization has been keeping extensive statistics. The majority of complaints are still related to racism – 792 cases, or 45% of the total. Reports of homophobia increased by 46% to 203, sexism by 12% to 216, and Islamophobia by 88% to 60. The increase has been recorded across all segments of football. In professional leagues and amateur football, the number of complaints rose by 41%, while online it increased by 5%. Kick It Out also received 142 reports of mass discriminatory chants at stadiums. This is a 41% increase compared to the previous season. The organization noted a rise in racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and discriminatory remarks directed at people with disabilities. The number of complaints regarding discrimination against referees and other officials reached 97 – the same number recorded over the previous three seasons combined. More than a third of such complaints concerned sexism against female referees. In youth football, the number of reports has been increasing for the fifth consecutive season. In tournaments for players under 18, 248 complaints were registered – a third more than the previous year. Kick It Out's CEO Samuel Okafor stated that discrimination remains a deeply rooted problem in British football: "These figures show that discrimination is still widespread in the game." According to him, the rise in the number of complaints also indicates that people are more willing to report violations. "We will continue to work with football authorities, clubs, leagues, regulators, and the government to ensure that reports of discrimination are met with clear and consistent actions," summarized the CEO of Kick It Out.
