Vītoliņš has been in charge of the Latvian national team since the summer of 2021, and under his leadership, the team won bronze at the 2023 World Championship. Meanwhile, at the 2026 World Championships, the national team finished in 6th place, which was the national side’s second-best result at the World Championships.
