The excursion titled "Night Hike with Flashlights at Pilssala" will begin at 21:00. Together with guide Einar Nordmanis, participants will walk through the natural meadows, where they will learn interesting facts about the freely grazing horses, rare plants, and birds, as well as have the opportunity to ask questions about the local ecosystem. Since the walk will last until midnight, the organizers advise participants to bring a flashlight and wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes. It should be noted that the route goes through natural meadows that are not mowed — their condition is maintained by the grazing of horses. In this natural area, numerous species of plants and animals can be found, as well as mosquitoes and horseflies. The start and finish of the excursion are planned at the Jelgava Water Tourism and Sports Base at 5 Pilssalas Street.
