On Wednesday, the rain in Latvia will become less intense and will occur only in some places. According to meteorologists' forecasts, precipitation is most likely in the central and eastern parts of the country. Throughout the day, variable cloudiness is expected. A west and northwest wind will blow from weak to moderate, with gusts of 9–14 meters per second, and on the Vidzeme coast — up to 16 meters per second. At night, the air temperature will drop to +8...+13 degrees, while it will be warmer on the coast — up to +16 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +17...+21 degrees. In Riga, rain is expected at night and in the first half of the day. The northwest wind will strengthen with gusts up to 16 meters per second. The temperature at night will be around +15 degrees, and during the day — up to +19 degrees. Importantly, in the evening, when the residents of Latvia will be able to observe the partial solar eclipse, no significant deterioration in weather is expected. The forecast indicates slight variable cloudiness, so there will be good chances to see the astronomical phenomenon in many areas of the country. After several rainy days, Wednesday will become more comfortable for walks, although the cool northwest wind will create a feeling of lower temperatures.
