Guests will be greeted by hundreds of dancers, giant puppets, acrobats, and circus performers, street games, workshops, and competitions will take place, Latvian and foreign musicians will perform, and the festival will conclude with a large-scale multimedia light show featuring the band Dagamba. The festival program is designed so that everyone — families with children, youth, adults, and the elderly — can find something interesting among the numerous events and feel the true festive atmosphere. Performances, concerts, and various activities will take place on Tallinas Street and its surroundings, in Kauguri Park, and on Kaugurciems Beach. ## The Festival Will Start with Dance and the "Jūras bize" Festival The Kauguri Festival will open at 12:00 on Tallinas Street. Participants of the "Jūras bize" dance festival will perform the Latvian folk dance "Es mācēju danci vest". The performance of **900 dancers** will conclude with a large collective dance of Kauguri, to which the audience will be invited to join. The continuation of the "Jūras bize" festival with dance performances and concerts will take place on Kaugurciems Beach from 13:00 to 17:40. ## Entertainment for the Whole Family From 12:00 to 17:00 on Tallinas Street, young visitors to the festival will be invited to experience the joy of movement in various activities. They will be able to climb a climbing wall, participate in fun relays, and in the balance school — try walking on stilts and special "buckets", as well as ride on pedal devices. Festival participants will be able to engage in creativity in the "Movement Objects" workshops and join activities at a large table for collaborative creativity. There will also be a "Rest and Sensations Zone", where one can pause, relax, and then return to the festive activities. ## Movement Stage At the intersection of Tallinas and Ledurgas Streets from 12:30 to 16:00, guests can expect dance and theatrical performances. At 12:30 and 14:45, giant puppets Milzītes will appear on stage with a dance performance. At 12:45 and 15:00, children will be invited to play with fairy tale characters, and at 14:00, the youngest viewers can watch the theater performance "The Bremen Town Musicians" by the theater "Zīļuks". The dance program will continue at 13:00 and 15:15 with performances by contemporary dance performers. At 13:35 and 15:40, participants from the "Dance Fitness Jūrmala" studio will showcase their skills. The audience will also have the opportunity to learn new movements together with the dancers. ## "Field of Wonders" At the intersection of Tallinas and Rupnieciabas Streets from 13:00 to 17:00, unusual and spectacular performances by circus artists and acrobats can be seen. At 13:00, 15:10, and 16:15, a giant puppet will appear before the audience, brought to the festival by artists from the United Kingdom. At 13:45 and 15:50, the Riga Circus will present a mini-show featuring elements of strength art and acrobatics — two strongmen will compete for the title of the strongest and best. At 14:30, the audience will enjoy a theatrical circus performance "PantoCirks", filled with acrobatics, tricks, and surprises. At 14:00, an acrobatic number inspired by tango will be performed above the ground — on a flexible pole. At 14:15 and 16:00, the audience will be presented with a unicycle show and juggling. ## Uzbek Plov and the "Jūrmala Talent Stage" From 12:00 to 17:00 on Tallinas Street, there will be a town of information booths in Jūrmala, where various events will be offered by city institutions and friends of Jūrmala. As part of the cooperation between the Jūrmala municipality and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia, three chefs from Uzbekistan will participate in the festival. They will prepare **three different types of traditional Uzbek plov**. Residents and guests of Jūrmala will be able to taste the dishes and vote for the most delicious option. Simultaneously, from 12:30 to 16:00, local artists — dancers and young performers will showcase their talents on the large festive stage, demonstrating the creative diversity of the city. ## 3x3 Basketball and Nearly 100 Cars From 12:00 to 22:00, the Jūrmala 3x3 basketball championship will take place in Kauguri Park. Games for children and youth will start at noon, while adults will continue the competitions in the evening. From 16:00 to 19:00, on the section of Tallinas Street from Ledurgas Street to Maza Nometņu Street, there will be a car exhibition "LoudJurmala", featuring **nearly 100 cars**. Visitors will be able to view the cars, meet their owners, learn more about the vehicles, and take photos next to them. ## Festive Fair and Cafés From 12:00 to 18:00, a festive fair will be held. Here, one can purchase goods from Latvian craftsmen and home producers, seasonal and organic products, as well as handmade items. Catering for dishes, snacks, and sweets will be provided by food stalls, which will continue to operate until 23:00. ## Big Concerts and Multimedia Light Show The evening program on the large festive stage on Tallinas Street will begin at 17:00 with a performance by Maksims Busels and his band. At 18:30, Lithuanian performer **Daddy Was A Milkman** will take the stage, at 20:00, the popular Latvian band **Mazais princis** will perform, and at 21:30, the concert of **Fiņķis** will begin. The climax of the festival is scheduled for **22:50**. The audience will be treated to a large-scale multimedia light show together with the musical group **Dagamba**. Music, light, video, and special effects will combine in one performance, which will be the final chord of the Kauguri festival. ## Additional Transport After the Festival After the events conclude, an additional train **Sloka — Riga** will be organized, departing from Sloka at 23:41. Additional city bus routes will also be provided. During the preparation and conduct of the festival in Kauguri, significant traffic restrictions will be in place. Drivers are asked to keep an eye on current information. Admission to all festive events is **free**. During the festival, photo and video recording will take place. The materials obtained may be used for event coverage and public information. Thus, on August 29, Kauguri will transform into a large festive venue for a whole day: from the mass dance of 900 participants, circus acts, giant puppets, and family entertainment to a car exhibition, basketball, concerts, and tasting Uzbek plov. The final point of the rich program will be the night multimedia show by Dagamba, which will start at 22:50.
