Затмение

During the total phase, the Moon completely covered the disk of the Sun. For a few minutes, twilight descended during the day, and observers could see the solar corona — the outer atmosphere of the Sun, which is usually hidden by its bright light. Millions of people followed the unusual celestial event. Many specifically traveled to regions where the path of totality passed, while others watched it through numerous live internet broadcasts. This was the first total solar eclipse visible in Europe since 1999 and one of the most anticipated astronomical events of 2026.
