The figure is an increase on the 25 applications received in May and just 5 applications received in April. No other month this year received any such applications at all. According to the Eurostat data, all of the 35 applicants in June were male.
In total, Latvia received 375 asylum applications from all ages in June. 350 of this number were first-time applications and 20 were second time applicants (the additional 5 are explained by Eurostat's number rounding).
