The pair were last seen on 12 August in Cēsis and concern had been expressed about their whereabouts. Following a police appeal, the pair were located alive and well on Friday afternoon.
There was also good news on Saturday morning in another missing persons case when Svetlana Skačkova, who had gone missing in Ventspils on August 13, was also found following a police appeal.
Police thanked the public for their help in both cases.
