Six teams were divided into two groups. First, the teams played matches within their groups, and on Sunday, the placement matches are taking place. Last year, the tournament was won by the "white" team of Latvia U-20, and in 2024, by the Finnish club "TuTo." The LHF President's Cup is an annual preseason tournament aimed primarily at providing the Latvia U-20 national team with quality preparation for the World Championship in the elite division, while also offering Latvian and foreign clubs the opportunity to play high-level matches. The main event of the season for the Latvia U-20 national team will be the U-20 World Championship in the elite division, which will take place in Canada at the end of December and the beginning of January.
