Berlin's emergency services summarized the results of the Rave The Planet techno parade, which gathered several tens of thousands of electronic music fans in the German capital. According to the DPA agency, during and after the event, medical assistance was required by 651 people. In 50 cases, the condition of participants was serious enough to warrant hospitalization. Reports indicate that medics dealt with various injuries sustained during the crowded event, as well as the effects of alcohol and drug use. An additional risk factor was the abnormally hot weather. A representative of Berlin's rescue service described the event as "very demanding" in terms of the pressure on medical staff. The workload was also intense for the police. According to law enforcement agencies in the German capital, 39 people were detained during the festival. Most of the detentions were related to suspicions of causing serious bodily harm, insults, and violations of laws regulating the circulation of narcotic substances. To ensure order during Rave The Planet, authorities deployed significant resources. Approximately 1,500 police officers monitored the safety of participants. In addition to ground units, helicopters and drones were used. Despite the large number of medical calls and dozens of detentions, the event attracted several tens of thousands of people. Thus, the Berlin techno parade became a serious test for the city's emergency services: hundreds of participants required on-site assistance, dozens were hospitalized, and police had to intervene multiple times due to offenses.
