The property is located next to the former premises of the "Sky" store on Ulmanis gatve. The total area of the land plot is 7,875 square meters, which includes one residential building and outbuildings. On March 26 of this year, the Riga City Court declared the retailer and supermarket manager "Sky" LLC "Skai Baltija" insolvent. The company's management explained to LETA that "Skai Baltija" can no longer compete in the price war with large foreign-owned retail chains. In recent years, the geopolitical situation has significantly increased operational costs. To ensure a transparent and clear settlement of obligations, the company's management decided to file for insolvency proceedings.
