Experts have moved Mel Brooks' black comedy, a parody of the western "Blazing Saddles," from 6th to 1st place. Thus, the previously recognized funniest comedy, Billy Wilder's "Some Like It Hot," has dropped to 2nd place. Brooks himself has long insisted that his film is funnier than Wilder's. And now, in the year of the director's 100th anniversary, the American Film Institute has presented him with a kind of gift.
