Interior Minister Janis Dombrova (National Alliance) continues to regularly inform on social media about the achievements of his ministry and subordinates. Today, he announced the arrest of three suspects in a possible sabotage case in Estonia: "The State Security Service has done an excellent job - just a few days after the incident, three individuals were arrested in connection with the arson of a technological enterprise in Estonia. According to the investigation, the arson was committed in the interests of Russia. I am very pleased with the work done by the SSS both in Latvia and in neighboring countries regarding the investigation of sabotage cases, receiving positive feedback from our Estonian colleagues. Such cases confirm the daily close cooperation of the intelligence services of the Baltic states in the face of the growing threat from Russia. It is essential that our country responds to those who act against the security of our country in the interests of the Kremlin - they will come for you! The State Security Service (SSS) initiated a criminal process on August 16 of this year on suspicion that three Latvian citizens committed arson at the Milrem Robotics defense technology enterprise in Estonia on the night of August 15. Based on the evidence established by the investigation, the SSS arrested two Latvian suspects on August 17 and one on August 18. All detained individuals have been placed in custody as a preventive measure. Criminal procedural actions were carried out at seven locations associated with the individuals - at their residences and in vehicles.
