The company has deployed 206 teams to inspect power lines and localize damages, and electricity supply is gradually being restored. The priority of the company is to restore the transmission power networks, so some teams are involved in repairing damages in cooperation with the installers of the transmission system of JSC "Augstsprieguma tīkls" (AST). The teams of "Sadales tīkls" have been working in an intensified mode since Saturday, continuing their work even at night. All possible resources of the company have been mobilized to eliminate the damages, and an agreement has been reached for support with the Estonian distribution system operator "Elektrilevi". Currently, electricity supply has been restored for some customers in Salaspils, Cēsis municipality, Saldus, and Dobele. Given the extensive damages, it may take several days to restore the power lines. On Sunday at 7:00, the operation of 46 out of more than 150 AST substations was disrupted, five 330 kV overhead power lines and 44 110 kV lines were damaged. Almost 277,000 customers of "Sadales tīkls" were left without electricity.
