He stated this during a conversation with journalists at the meeting of the leaders of the Northern Baltic Eight, writes a correspondent for "European Truth." Mihal was asked about the likelihood that Russia would expand its military aggression to Northern Europe or the Baltic countries. He noted that the current military and security assessment is quite clear: NATO is functioning well. "Russia assesses the power and strength of NATO at such a level that it understands: it is not worth attacking. This means that NATO and European countries can feel in a more advantageous position," emphasized Mihal. Currently, in the opinion of the Estonian Prime Minister, new hybrid attacks from Russia should be expected. "The question arises: is a hybrid car a car? Probably yes. Similarly, one can explain what hybrid warfare is. It is already happening across Europe," he said. "Therefore, my answer will be this: there is no immediate threat right now. Russia understands this, but at the same time does everything to ensure that everyone is concerned about their own security rather than Ukraine," added Mihal.
