After the damage caused by the storm has been repaired, it is planned that on Monday, train services on the Tukums, Jelgava, Aizkraukle, Sigulda, Daugavpils, Rēzekne, and Liepāja lines will be restored according to the schedule. Considering that work to repair the damage caused by the storm is still ongoing on the railway infrastructure, individual train services may still be delayed. On the Skulte line, trains will operate on the Riga–Saulkrasti–Riga route, while on the Saulkrasti–Skulte–Saulkrasti route, passenger transport will be organized by buses, which will depart from Skulte according to the train schedule. Bus and train services will be mutually coordinated to ensure a convenient and uninterrupted journey for passengers. This means that in the event of a bus delay, the train will wait for passengers to ensure a comfortable transfer. Thus, buses and trains will wait for each other so that passengers can conveniently continue their journey. On the Saulkrasti–Skulte route, train services are planned to be restored by 20:00 on August 24, as soon as JSC "Latvijas dzelzceļš" (LDz) completes the necessary work to restore the railway infrastructure and contact network. Meanwhile, on the Ieriki–Valga route, due to power supply interruptions, individual train services may be delayed. LDz plans to resolve the power supply interruptions by 18:00 on August 24.
